OPTEC can provide a number of services to assist you in a construction or up-grade phase. We also maintain a fleet of Fiber Splicing Labs and our company is certified through a number of Engineering Divisions for multiple phases of fiber implementation. OPTEC is trained & certified through 3M, Siecor - "Corning", AT&T, GTE, McLeodUSA, Avanti, Telco Systems, Northern Telecom, Laser Tech International, Mastery Point, Wave7Optic's, RADirect and Anderson Soft-Teach for such applications as L.A.N., W.A.N., Digital Transmission Networks, I.S.D.N., MUX Installation & Turn-up, FTTH Design & Installation, Fusion and Mechanical Splicing, Optical Testing and Emergency Restoration of Optical Transmisson Systems on a very wide varity of sytem types & number of clientele on a Nation-wide basis.
Members of our staff have been providing Fiber Optic Splicing and Training Services for the Telco’s and MSO’s since 1982, and the Cable industry since 1975. We employ and train (in-house) some of the best-trained technicians the industry has to offer. Not only do we build your system, our company will work hand in hand with your in-house technicians, to provide up to date training and education on the latest procedures and trouble-shooting techniques available. Upon completion of your system your technicians will feel comfortable in maintaining and restoring your State of the Art Hy-brid fiber/coax plant in the event of a service interruption.
